Rocky Mountain Clean Air Action Urges Enforcement of Clean Air Rules

Together with the Environmental Integrity Project and 22 other organizations, Rocky Mountain Clean Air Action joined in demanding the Environmental Protection Agency reinstate strong clean air rules. In 2005, the Environmental Protection Agency was rebuffed when federal courts overturned clean air rollbacks that would have allowed major sources of air pollution to hide emissions and avoid using the best available pollution controls. Despite court rulings, the Environmental Protection Agency has yet to restore previous rules. Rocky Mountain Clean Air Action joined in a letter demanding that the Environmental Protection Agency fulfill its responsibility to protect clean air.
